Q

Getting rid of Nimda & FunLove

What tool can I use to remove the Nimda and FunLove worms from a network running Windows NT? How can I be certain that I've completely eradicated them?
You can try several tools for cleaning up these viruses: F-Secure and Kaspersky Anti-Virus should do the trick, as should Symantec's Norton Anti-Virus. Their sites are www.f-secure.com, www.avp.ru and www.symantec.com.

A good procedure to follow is to physically disconnect an infected machine from the rest of the network while doing the clean-up and then ensure that no drives/files are shared again until all the other machines are clean.
