I am running a Win2000 Pro desktop machine. Everytime I bootup, IEXPLORE.EXE is activated and I haven't even opened...
it. I then get a Trojan alert from my Norton AV2K2. If I don't shutdown the process, I then a European ad for a porno Web cam site pops up. How do I get rid of this?
Most antivirus products are not very good at finding Trojans, unfortunately.
A product that may eliminate this problem on your machine is PestPatrol, from www.pestpatrol.com. Another option is The Cleaner, from www.moosoft.com.
