I tried pop-up blockers, but these conflict with legitimate pop-ups such as would occur when Adobe reader brings up a file to print. Any ideas on restricting the users without stopping legitimate Web browsing? You should consider implementing a HOSTS file to block unwanted adware and spyware. A lot of folks have successfully implemented this solution from MVPS.org.
It includes most major parasites, hijackers and unwanted search engines and it's easy to update from a central location.
