Identifying Bugbear infection on a LAN

How do I identify if my LAN is infected by Bugbear?
The only way to be certain that your system or LAN is not infected is to run an up-to-date scanner. Symantec, for example, offers a tool to locate and remove Bugbear, as well as instructions on how to perform this check safely.
