Information security training in Europe

Information security training in Europe

I am seeking training courses or degrees for information security in Europe, either online or offered via educational institutions. I have searched online and have found only the University of London's external program. I was wondering whether you know a bit more about this program?

Alas, I am not well versed in the information security training marketplace or offerings across the pond, either in the UK or on the mainland.

That said, there are plenty of strong information security organizations in both places to help you find the information you seek. I'd recommend that you visit the International Systems Security Association's Europe Web site. Look around, and if necessary, contact them for further information and advice. There's a chapter in London, and someone there should be available to help you find what you're seeking.

Also, numerous groups work around the various British Standards (such as, BS 7779 aka ISO 17779) that have to do with information security. Here again, local experts or members should be available to help you in your quest.
