Q

Removing ActiveX controls

How do I remove an ActiveX program from my computer?

You can remove ActiveX controls by using Explorer or Control Panel's Add/Remove Program, depending on the ActiveX control (program).

If you find it under Add/Remove Programs, just use that to remove it.

If not, go to C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files\ in Windows Explorer and delete it.

You can also use a tool such as Norton Utilities to search for, and remove ActiveX controls.
