Q

Removing Trojan not detected by antivirus software

I have a feeling that my best pal has sent me a Trojan as an attachment. I checked the extension, but I did not

find anything funny in it. Even the Trojan dectector and remover I am using has not spotted it. Is there any way to remove it without corrupting any applications? I fear the Trojan would have made the entries in the registry, which I think will corrupt the office and other applications relying on the registry.

If you know the name of the Trojan see if any of the antivirus companies offer special software to remove it. Try both www.mcafee.com and www.symantec.com.
