Q

Removing backdoor.litmus with system running at 100%

I have seen the question that was posted about the backdoor.litmus virus. How can I get rid of the virus if it makes my computer run at 100%, and I can't get into task manager to end the corrupt files' processes to free up my computer? It won't let me do anything and every time I try, the computer freezes up. Will I have to reformat? Depending on the OS, try booting in Safe or Command mode. Many antivirus solutions WILL run in this...

mode, thus solve many of your issues. Contact your antivirus software vendor and ask them if they have any suggestions as well.

If this don't work, then I'm sorry to say you have to reload from scratch!
