Although Nimda doesn't infect the Mac OS or files, it will attach to any files that are PC formatted within your PC partition on your Mac. The Mac files are not at risk, but your other PC formatted files may be. Outlook Express and IE both use the same PC/DOS/98/NT functionality on Mac, as well as the PC platform. Although there has been no news of something like this happening, I would be careful anyway. Nimda is not just an e-mail virus. It is a worm that also travels through the Internet, thereby using IE.
