Q

Virus alert services

Is there a Web site or service that I can sign up for that will notify me when potential viruses are known? If...

so, is there an international site also?

www.AVIEN.org offers the EWS (Early Warning System) service. The subscribers to the EWS act as a grassroots warning network. Together, they represent more than five million PCs worldwide.

All major AV vendors offer a free service with warnings about new viruses. In addition, there are several sites which will send you info based on the vendor alerts.
