Some firewalls can be used to filter out suspicious files arriving from any source they are filtering -- all the .VBS files, for example. There are also firewall-level antivirus products from just about all AV vendors.

In addition, some personal firewalls are now combining the functionality of an AV scanner with firewall protection -- Norton Internet Security is one example.
