Q

Where to find the Microsoft patch for Klez

I have now read three articles that said Microsoft has a patch for Outlook 2000 that would have stopped the Klez

virus. WHAT PATCH? Can you reference it? Finding the correct patch on the MS Web site is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

The Klez worm, like many others, uses an Internet Explorer security breach (IFRAME vulnerability) to start automatically when an infected message is viewed.

The Microsoft patch is found at www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/MS01-027.asp.
