I do not have a good source for antivirus benchmarking at this time. There are several factors that I'm sure you already considered. Below is a small list:
Speed
Number of signatures and speed
False/Positives
Attachment speed
Number of configuration items
Speed of vendor providing signature updates
Vendor response to your needs
Warranty support (24 X 7) (12 X 5)
These are only some factors to consider when reviewing antivirus vendors. As with all other systems your selection should be based on business requirements.
