I would like to know whether the experience requirement for the CISSP can be fulfilled after completing the exam. I have six months of experience in the IT infrastructure management field. I have also completed a one-year course in technology management.

(ISC)² now offers something referred to as the Associate CISSP, which means that you can take the exam without the needed experience and educational requirements. Once you have completed the necessary requirements, you turn in documentation of proof to (ISC)² and then you are awarded the CISSP credential.
