EXPERT RESPONSE
Generally speaking, Web sites don't use SET. It was developed in the late 1990s, but never really got off the ground. Using SET requires the use of a browser that has built-in SET technology and a Web site that has SET support enabled. Unfortunately, neither of those really exist.
Currently, most Web sites depend on SSL to protect e-commerce transactions. If you want more protection, consider using one of the one-time use card number services offered by many credit card providers.
