QUESTION POSED ON: 29 August 2001
I understand that Code Red infects only Windows NT and 2000. I have a Windows
98 peer-to-peer and found the virus on one of my computers. The others were clean. I cleaned it up with Norton. Is there anything else I should be doing?

There must be some confusion here -- Code Red is a worm, not a virus. It
does not "infect" Windows 98 and is memory resident only -- you cannot find it
the same way that you would find a virus that infects files.
Perhaps you found something else, and it had a similar name. Keep your
Norton antivirus up to date.
