Security 7, 'Best In Show' Shine

Information Security magazine and SearchSecurity.com honored innovative security practitioners in seven vertical markets this fall with our annual Security 7 awards at Information Security Decisions in Chicago. The winners honored at the event were (from left) Andre Gold of Continental Airlines; Robert Garigue of Bell Canada; Craig Shumard of CIGNA; Dorothy Denning, professor at the Naval Postgraduate School; Philip Heneghan of the U.S. Agency for International Development; Stephen Bonner of Barclays Capital; and Larry Brock of DuPont.


Also, Information Security editors, Burton Group analysts and Information Security Decisions attendees voted on the best security solutions at the show. Called Best in Show, the winners were Imprivata, which was named Best in Show; Qualys, which won our Best Practical Solution award; Aladdin Knowledge Systems, which received the Innovation award, large company; and Consentry Networks, which received the Innovation award, small company.
