Best in class, does outstanding job of filling this need for the organization. Thorough, innovative, easy to use and flexible. May be equaled, but hard to beat. Recommended without reservation
B
A solid performer, does a very good job of meeting an organization's requirements. Viable choice, though there is room for improvement. Recommended with some reservation.
C
Passable, adequate. Fills basic requirements but doesn't stand out and needs substantial improvement to move up in class.
D
Not acceptable. Has some value, but...

Demonstrate superiority in one or more of the following ways:
Offers innovative solution to a security problem through a new approach or technology or fresh application/combination of existing technologies.
Solves an existing security problem in a more effective way than existing products
Has features or capabilities that add significant value to its core function.
Is significantly more cost-effective and/or easier to manage than competing products and services that offer similar capabilities.
