All of the included products operate from a single client, which Commtouch calls a "triple play" of messaging security, Web security and antivirus. Each of the components are also available separately.

The unified engine allows the programs to work together by sharing information about threats and vulnerabilities. Commtouch claims the unified engine integrates with existing products from SaaS vendors and unified threat management suppliers.
