PhoneFactor provides multifactor authentication for HealthVault

PhoneFactor has been selected by Microsoft to provide multifactor authentication for HealthVault users.

PhoneFactor Inc. announced at RSA Conference 2011 that its multifactor authentication service has been integrated with Microsoft's HealthVault.

HealthVault is an online service that gives customers control of their digitized medical records. This service can now benefit from added security. PhoneFactor performs multifactor authentication when a user signs into HealthVault or one of its partner applications.

HealthVault's partners include such organizations as the Mayo Clinic and the American Heart Association. Microsoft is making PhoneFactor's increased security service available to its HeathVault customers at no extra charge.
