ValidEdge unveiled its Network Malware Security (NMS) system today at the 2011 RSA Conference. The product is a combination of hardware and software that continuously monitors network traffic for suspect code.

The NMS system's port scanners passively monitor network points for suspicious activity, including unknown zero-day malware or a single-target malware attack on critical assets. The NMS system includes sensor agents, black and white list scanners and an analyzer. The NMS agents forward suspicious files automatically to the NMS Analyzer appliance, which then generates a repair kit for the infection.
