E-business integration solution provider Sagavista will secure its broker technology with RSA BSAFE(R) encryption software. Sagavista 2.0 will come equipped with Crypto-J and SSL-J security software allowing for secure data exchanges between Sagavista users. Saga provides e-business integration and system software supporting transactions for large businesses worldwide.
Securing the small and medium
Interland has partnered with Internet Security Systems to secure small- and medium-size enterprises. Interland will be able to offer ISS' managed security services of client firewalls, VPNs as well as provide intrusion detection services. The outsourcing partnership will allow Interland customers to devote more time to core business, according to its CEO Ken Gavranovic. Interland hosts more than 1,000 managed dedicated customers.
Marrackech invests in RSA and vice-versa
Global transaction company Marrakech has partnered with RSA Security to deliver security to the Marrakech Global Commerce Network. Marrackech is a business-to-business (B2B) company that enables end-to-end business transactions through the network, which supports buyers, suppliers, banks and others doing business online. RSA Ventures, meanwhile, made an investment in Marrakech earlier this year. Marrakech's network is an online trading platform that integrates procurement and payment in one network.
ASP Corio buys into ClickNet anti-hacking technology
Application service provider Corio has brought aboard ClickNet's proactive anti-hacking technology Entercept to secure its Intelligent Infrastructure. Entercept provides protection beyond the firewall by identifying attacks and instantly taking action to prevent access to e-server resources before any unauthorized transactions occur. The Web Server Edition, the latest member of the Entercept family, offers unique protection for Web servers as well as applications.
