We asked security experts to give us their industry predictions for the New Year. Here's what Jon Callas had to say.

Here are my security predictions:

  • We haven't heard the last of certificate-handling bugs in Windows.

  • The security industry will be disappointed at how little money will come to them from allocations from the Homeland Security department.

  • There will be more relaxations of airline security, but they will continue to have procedures that to not add security, but instead show they are doing something (like taking away tweezers).
