Vericept VIEW 5.0 software version available immediately
Vericept Corp. announced Vericept Intelligent Early Warning (VIEW) 5.0, a software version of VIEW technology. This content-monitoring software enables IT administrators to analyze network activity including Internet, intranet, e-mail, IM, chat, FTP, peer-to-peer file sharing and bulletin board postings. VIEW 5.0 is compatible with any hardware type.
Ipswitch announces anti-spam software
Ipswitch, Inc. launched the IMail Server 8.0, a new Webmail client for fighting spam. In addition to more than a dozen anti-spam tools, the IMail Server 8.0 also has an intelligent Queue Manager that automates delivery tasks and produces daily reports on e-mail activity. Ipswitch provides three different levels of the IMail Server to suit the diverse needs of different organizations: IMail Express, IMail Small Business and IMail Professional. Customers will also find they can choose from six different languages.
Securify, FishNet Security partner for network security
Securify and FishNet Security announced a strategic partnership to improve network security compliance. Using Securify's SecurVantage and FishNet Security's Piranha Team, both companies hope to bridge the gap between written security policy and actual security performance. Rather than using a snapshot of network performance, this alliance wants to provide customers with continuous view of how their network security is performing. This way IT administrators have a more realistic view of their security measures. Also, as a part of the VAR agreement, FishNet Security will bundle SecurVantage with their network security solutions.
Ositis launches eShield z2000 Antivirus Appliance
Ositis announced the newest member of the eShield platform: the eShield z2000 Antivirus Appliance. This appliance installs as a network bridge and stands behind the firewall scanning all incoming and outgoing traffic. The z2000's network antivirus throughtput is 30 Mbps (megabits per second) -- triple the normal 10 Mbps. This antivirus appliance is designed for the enterprise with seats in the 2,500 - 25,000 range.
Check Point announces PartnerMap
Check Point Software Technologies launched PartnerMap, a business portal to increase strategic partnerships and increase their Internet-security solutions sales. PartnerMap provides a central location for business partners to access and manage their account as well as view sales and marketing info. In addition to this portal, Check Point will also introduce new rewards for its partner program based on the level of a company's investment.
