Trend Micro announces support for IBM Lotus Domino 6.5
Antivirus and content security vendor Trend Micro announced support for IBM Lotus Domino 6.5 with its ScanMail for Lotus Notes 2.6. The antivirus and content security software helps organizations protect against malicious code and unwanted e-mails. ScanMail 2.6 also supports Domino 6.5 organizations using Windows, Linux and Solaris platforms and is available now. Support for AIX, AS400 and S390 platforms will be available in October.

TruLogica updates Concero
Identity management vendor TruLogica announced Concero 2.5, the latest version of its identity management product. Features include bulk provisioning for importing large groups of users, business process logic processing for integrating identity management with other tasks billing and dynamic grouping for organizing users.
Executive Software ships Sitekeeper 3.0
Systems management tool vendor Executive Software announced that an update to its Sitekeeper product is shipping. Sitekeeper 3.0 enables organizations to manage and deploy the flow of Windows patches. Features include a new interface and filters for finding data.

Sygate unveils security portal
Sygate Technologies unveiled the Sygate Security Portal (SSP). The SSP provides enterprises with the means to extend policy enforcement and endpoint security to devices outside the organization such as home computers or contractor equipment. The SSP is able to monitor outside devices via their downloadable plug-in, Sygate Virtual Security Agent. A typical deployment may cost a customer $15,000 to $400,000 depending the size and functionality needed. The Sygate Security Portal will be available 45 days.

ActivCard announces support for Citrix MetaFrame
Identity management vendor and Citrix Business Alliance member ActivCard announced that some of its authentication methods now support Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server software. Under this alliance, ActiveCard's smartcards, PKI certifications, fingerprint biometrics, one-time passwords, PINs, hardware and software tokens, and USB keys will be added to Citrix's software for multi-factor authentication.
