Proofpoint, Sigaba partner on e-mail policies solutions

Sigaba announced a partnership with Proofpoint to improve e-mail security policy management. Under this agreement, Sigaba will integrate its Secure Messaging solution with Proofpoint's Protection Server to provide improved protection from spam and viruses, outbound e-mail policy and management and secure messaging capabilities.
Marimba releases patch management product
Marimba announced the release of its Security Patch Management solution. New features include patch analysis and collection, patch testing, patch auditing and reporting, and patch deployment and compliance. Security Patch Management can be purchased as a stand-alone product or part of a Marimba Six product suite beginning at the end of March. Pricing is based on the number of end-points and computer systems involved.
Guardian Digital introduces open source CAPE
Guardian Digital announced its Content and Policy Enforcement (CAPE) technology, open source software for securing e-mail. This CAPE technology secures e-mail in Guardian Digital's Secure Mail Suite. Prominent features of CAPE include content analysis for blocking spam, client whitelists and filtering preferences, malicious-attack and DoS protections, policy design and enforcement, file attachment management and end user mail destiny management. The software can be placed at the gateway or server for layered protection.
encryptX updates SecurDataStor
encryptX released its SecurDataStor 6.0 for securing data in a collaborative work environment. SecurDataStor 6.0 is a scalable solution for SMBs to larger enterprises. Prominent features of SecurDataStor for SMBs include access rights control for information stored on PCs, removable storage media, e-mail and/or FTP. Larger enterprises can purchase the Professional Edition that provides admins with the tools to create permission models, lock information to certain computers and issue permission controls based on groups.
