Information security services are growing in popularity, diversity and scope. Once focused primarily on the small business market and limited to things like managed network firewalls, they encompass almost every aspect of information security, from authentication to email and Web security to source code review. Faced with mounting costs and complex compliance requirements, even the largest enterprises are outsourcing at least some of their security operations. Large carriers have taken a leadership role, offering a broad range of services to secure their customers' communications, transactions and data. In two-part video interviews at last week's RSA Conference, Kerry Bailey, vice president of Verizon Business security solutions, and Stan Quintana, vice president of AT&T Security Services explain their companies' expanding role as security service providers.
