Siemens, Sigaba build HIPAA-compliant e-mail product
Munich-based Siemens recently teamed up with Sigaba of San Mateo, Calif. to develop a secure e-mail product for health care. The product allows users to deliver any type of document in an encrypted e-mail. The service will help users meet emerging HIPAA requirements while continuing to use their existing email client. Based on Sigaba's secure email and secure statements products, the Siemens suite of services will enable hospitals and physician practices across the country to secure their email communications to partners, departments and individuals over open networks, easily and affordably.

Sophos relaunches partner program in North America
U.K.-based enterprise antivirus vendor Sophos recently announced the relaunch of its Sophos Partner Program in North America. The enhanced program will focus on the unique needs of consultants, value-added resellers, systems integrators and corporate resellers.
