Description:
Digital Evolution, a provider of Web services security, today announced support for the recently adopted OASIS standard Universal Description, Discovery and Integration (UDDI) v3.0.2. Digital Evolution was among the first to offer a commercially available UDDI v3 registry when the company released version 2.0 of its Service Manager product in early 2003, and added service policy meta-data to the registry. The latter function allows service consumer applications to dynamically discover security and management policies to maintain a loose coupling between services, consumers and the underlying enterprise security and management infrastructure.
The company also today released Digital Evolution's XML VPN for companies using Microsoft .NET-based Web services for B2B interactions. Available as both a hardware appliance and as software, the XML VPN lets enterprises create virtual tunnels between partners using .NET-based applications and services. It includes compressed PKI support and a provisioning tool to invite and then coordinate a community of Web services consumers.
See the Digital Evolution Web site for more information on both products.
