New Boundary Technologies Inc. today announced a new security compliance product, Policy Commander, an automated security policy enforcement solution that provides a top-level dashboard summary of compliance status with granular control for network administrators. Policy Commander lets administrators define the role and security level of a computer, and automatically applies the appropriate security policies for its role and security level. According to the company, policies can be implemented in a test mode to determine their impact on critical applications, and then easily switched to a production mode in a single step. Policy Commander is scheduled for release on March 25.
