SonicWall to provide intrusion-prevention service for its platforms

Description: SonicWall announced that it will be providing intrusion-prevention service on a yearly subscription basis for its TZ 170 and PRO 2040, PRO 3060, PRO 4060 and PRO 5060 appliances. This new service will deliver a deep packet inspection engine, signature database, signature updates, policy management and central management capabilities. Pricing for the intrusion-prevention service begins at $500 per year per appliance and will be available in the second quarter of 2004. For more info on SonicWall, click here.
