Securing systems out of the box

All systems come "out of the box" with the operating system (OS) pretty much wide open. Use Ghost, or some other disk imaging software, to make an image of your preferred OS after you have hardened it to your specifications. Then all you have to do is re-image each new system as you open the box. This saves hours of re-hardening each system after you blow it out and install your OS.
