If you're looking for the Administration Tools folder on your Windows 2000 Professional computer, you'll find it in Control Panel. Through customer feedback, the Administrative Tools folder was moved to Control Panel, where the majority of operating-system configuration and management tools are located.
However, if you miss having the Administrative Tools folder on the Start Menu, you can easily move it back to the Start Menu:
1. Click Start, point to Settings, then click Taskbar and Start Menu.
2. Click the Advanced tab.
3. In the list of Start Menu Settings, ensure that the Display Administrative Tools check box is selected, then click OK.
Note: The Administration Tools folder is an option that was previously found on Windows NT.
