L0phtCrack returns DATE: 12 Mar 2009
Security expert Chris Wysopal explains why the L0phtCrack password cracking tool is being unveiled once again after Symantec discontinued sales of L0phtCrack in 2006. The tool was developed by the L0pht, a Boston-based security research firm founded by Wysopal and fellow researcher Peiter Zatko. Wysopal announced the tool's re-release at SOURCE Boston 2009. Wysopal is interviewed by Michael S. Mimoso of Information Security magazine.
