(ISC)2’s Tipton on CISSP test transparency, board of directors election process

In this interview, conducted at the first annual (ISC)2 Security Congress in Orlando, Executive Director W. Hord Tipton discusses several of the hot-button issues surrounding information security certifications in general,  and the popular CISSP certification in particular. Specific topics include why a CISSP certification is still valuable despite concerns it’s becoming watered down, why the process around developing and choosing CISSP test questions offers little transparency, and how the (ISC)2 board of directors election process works.
