In this interview, conducted at the first annual (ISC)² Security Congress in Orlando, Executive Director W. Hord Tipton discusses several of the hot-button issues surrounding information security certifications in general, and the popular CISSP certification in particular. Specific topics include why a CISSP certification is still valuable despite concerns it’s becoming watered down, why the process around developing and choosing CISSP test questions offers little transparency, and how the (ISC)² board of directors election process works.
