Security Enhancements for Microsoft Exchange, known as Exchange (SE), provides enhancements to the Microsoft Exchange and Outlook clients. Compaq has developed Exchange (SE) in the UK, building on the existing successful relationships with Microsoft and CESG (Communications -- Electronics Security Group), the UK National Technical Authority for Information Security. Compaq and Microsoft have been very successful with Security Enhancements for Microsoft Windows NT -- NT(SE), selling over 250,000 seats.
Compaq has integrated e-mail security components with the Exchange and Outlook mail clients providing the user interface, integration, implementation and support services. Exchange (SE) fits with the highly desirable COMPAQ COTS (Commercial Off The Shelf) products philosophy, which is to provide off-the-shelf enhancements to standard Microsoft products. |
