Is virus writing really that bad?

ABOUT THIS WHITE PAPER
Date Published:
01 NOV 2001

About the White Paper:
In a world in which some anti-virus companies regularly overstate the risks posed by individual viruses in order to hype up the threat, it can be hard to judge the seriousness of the problem. So this paper tries to answer the question 'Is virus writing really that bad?' with a balanced view of the situation. Even though some of the so-called good guys come in for firm criticism, we conclude that the answer is a very definite yes.
