Fischer International's Fischer Identity Suite 2.0 provides identity management capabilities through DataForum, its provisioning, approval and compliance engine. Also included are auditing and reporting, real-time separation-of-duties enforcement, and simplified data migration and synchronization. Fischer Identity Suite 2.0 is priced between $1 and $10 per user.

Tumbleweed's SecureTransport pro-tects data privacy and provides secure delivery of information across the Internet and private IP networks, and now supports file transfer protocols using SSH, HTTPS, FTPS and FSTP. Turnkey integration with Computer Associates' eTrust Siteminder SSO allows organizations to leverage existing authentication infrastructures for data access and security policy management.

SecureTransport starts at $8,600 for 100 user licenses.

Vericept's Vericept 7.1 provides a granular level of content protection. Version 7.1 allows admin to control and define specific monitoring environments with exception- and time-based categories, and event priority settings. Improvements include advanced data and investigation management through improved data mining capabilities, invisible event annotations and a comprehensive audit trail. Vericept 7.1 starts at $3,499.

Symantec Mobile Security 4.0 for Symbian is an integrated antivirus and firewall solution that protects Symbian OS-based Series 60 and 80 smartphones (including Nokia's 9300 and 9500) from network intrusions and malware. Real-time automatic and on-demand virus scans protect files, and a rule-based firewall intercepts and interprets inbound and outbound messages. Flexible management control allows admin to remotely configure, lock and enforce policies, as well as trigger remote antivirus scans and updates via Symantec's LiveUpdate server. Symantec Mobile Security 4.0 for Symbian is available as a two-year downloadable service for $44.95 per phone.

FaceTime Communications' Real-Time Guardian 3.0 is a perimeter security solution that blocks spyware and adware by preventing the user from visiting known spyware sites and downloading specific files types. RTG 3.0 also expands its IM and P2P blocking capabilities by expanding its IM and P2P protocol and client coverage, and including an updated user interface, expanded reporting functionalities and improved central management.

Real-Time Guardian 3.0 starts at $5,000.

Shavlik Technologies announces Security Agents 5, the latest update to its agent-based patch management application. The agents transmit customer data to a central server or network console and can decrease overall network traffic. Security Agent 5 is integrated with Shavlik's agentless patch solution HFNetChkPro 5, but can work independently. Security Agents 5 starts at $16.63 per seat, not including a data access and maintenance fee.

Secure Software's CodeAssure, the company's flagship automated application security suite, is available in version 2.0. Included are the CodeAssure Management Center, which offers real-time reporting, comprehensive compliance tracking and an intuitive interface for easy administration of user groups, projects and policies; the CodeAssure Workbench, which analyzes source code for security flaws; and the CodeAssure Integrator, which combines the suite's security testing with existing quality assurance tools and processes.

The CodeAssure 2.0 suite starts at $48,000 for a 10-developer deployment.
